MIRRORED HEART, PART II
Solo show
Curator: Konstantin Alyavdin
State University of Art Studies, Moscow, 2021
The second part of the Mirrored Heart exhibition, dedicated to multifaceted perception of human personality. The project was transformed into a spatial installation within the walls of an 18th century mansion. The characters portrayed by the artist are scattered throughout the rooms, naturally multiplying and distorting in the reflective surfaces. This exhibition continues and develops the idea, fundamental to the artist's, that each of us is a collective image, a diverse system consisting of other people's perceptions, personal reflections and the context in which we find ourselves. The paintings in this space cannot be separated from the environment, they should be perceived through their multiple, reflected nature, and in order to see the images as a whole, every detail and every state is important.
